Project Manager

  • General purpose of the job: To be the overall responsible employee for the NPI (new product introduction) and successful management of project cost, quality and timing; To support existing projects throughout their life cycle including engineering change control and product end of life activities.



    Main deliverables:


    - To be responsible for the planning, execution, monitoring and control of the projects in terms of quality, cost and on time delivery;
    - To organize, control and lead the participants in the assigned projects;
    - To ensure performing of risk analysis prior to project quotation;
    - To provide necessary data for the RFQ process to ensure competitive, detailed and timely quotation;
    - To plan and manage the resource requirements of the projects, e.g. staff, CAPEX, materials, etc.
    - Facilitates high level interaction between the Company, customer and the plant;
    - To support the communication within and out of the project team – with customers, Sales, General Managers, other managers of functional departments, etc.;
    - To be responsible for the internal coordination and communication with the customer while implementing new processes and products;
    - To prepare offers for new projects and to follow up on their development;
    - To initiate and offer specific actions for improvement of the profit from the products and decrease manufacturing costs;
    - To organize the development and implementation of new processes and products;
    - To participate in the production analysis by suggesting measures for improving the effectiveness;
    - To participate in the selection, requirement and implementation of new equipment;
    - To request the needed specific instruments and tools for the respective project;
    - To cordinate with the General Manager BG 1 the decisions concerning the financial expenses exceeding the budget (offer).

    Required skills:


    - Technical University degree (preferably in Electronics, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering)
    - Experience in customer interaction;
    - Strong background in business planning;
    - Project management and financial analysis knowledge;
    - Quality standards knowledge;
    - English at Upper Intermediate Business Level – written and spoken;
    - Computer literacy – MS Office package (excellent Excel knowledge - a must); PM tools knowledge is a plus (Gantt charts, risk analysis);
    - Proactive attitude and excellent communication and presentation skills;
    - Effective people management skills;
    - Flexibility, adaptability and high personal motivation to work;
    Organized – able to deal with multiple tasks and switch fast from one to another;
    - Able to set priorities and follow them;
    - Able to work under pressure;
    - Second language / French or German/ - an advantage;
    - Experience and detailed knowledge of the technological process and products in EMS industry - plus;
